😨🎭 A FRIGHTENING MORNING IN PHILADELPHIA
On August 12, police say Hughes approached and harᴀssed multiple people near Philadelphia City Hall while wearing a distinctive doll-like Halloween mask.

Investigators believe as many as 15 to 16 people may have been approached or chased during the incidents.

One encounter was particularly frightening.

Police say Hughes chased a 40-year-old woman and allegedly asked her, “Are you ready to die?”

The woman ran away and suffered a serious leg injury while trying to escape. 💔

Authorities later said Hughes appeared to be holding a cellphone and may have been recording some of the encounters.

Investigators believe the videos may have been intended for social media attention or entertainment.

🚨🔎 POLICE IDENTIFY THE SUSPECT
As investigators reviewed surveillance footage and gathered information from witnesses, they identified Hughes as the suspect.

Police issued an arrest warrant and warned that he might have left Pennsylvania.

The search quickly expanded beyond Philadelphia.

Authorities learned that Hughes had connections to Nevada and California and began working with the U.S. Marshals Service to locate him.

✈️🚨 HE FLED PHILADELPHIA
According to investigators, Hughes left Philadelphia on August 19.

Authorities say he traveled by plane from Trenton, New Jersey, to Orlando, Florida, before eventually flying to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Investigators tracked his movements and continued monitoring possible locations.

After his pH๏τograph was released publicly, authorities said Hughes changed locations in Las Vegas and attempted to remain out of sight.

But the search continued.

🚔😱 ARRESTED IN LAS VEGAS
On August 25, members of the U.S. Marshals Nevada Violent Offender Task Force located Hughes at an apartment complex in southeast Las Vegas.

He was taken into custody without a major incident, although authorities later said he attempted to get out of his handcuffs and had to be subdued.

He was then booked into the Clark County Detention Center and is awaiting extradition to Philadelphia.
