A routine school day ended in unimaginable tragedy for 7-year-old Timea Batts, whose final moments became the center of a deeply disturbing case involving her father, Timothy Batts.

Timea had returned home from school carrying the ordinary belongings of a young child. She had a backpack, her shoes and the small routines that should have been part of an ordinary childhood.
