🔥 WADE WILSON DE@TH ROW UPDATE: “ᴅᴇᴀᴅPOOL KILLER” REMAINS ON FLORIDA’S DE@TH ROW AS LEGAL FIGHT CONTINUES
Wade Wilson, the Florida man widely known online as the “ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool Killer,” remains on Florida’s de@th row after being convicted in 2024 of the 2019 m*rd3rs of Kristine Melton and Diane Ruiz. He received two de@th sentences in August 2024.
Wilson’s case has continued through the appeals process. His attorneys challenged the legality of the de@th sentences, particularly the way Florida’s revised sentencing law was applied to his case. Under the newer rules, a jury recommendation for a de@th sentence does not have to be unanimous.
In February 2026, the Florida Supreme Court upheld the lower court’s ruling after Wilson’s attorney appeared before the justices. His legal team indicated that they intended to preserve the consтιтutional arguments for a possible appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
A more recent development came when Wilson’s attorneys ended one particular challenge to his de@th sentence at the Florida Supreme Court, citing previous court rulings that had already addressed similar arguments. That does not mean his entire legal battle is over.
For now, Wilson remains incarcerated on Florida’s de@th row, and there is no official execution date. His case continues to attract public attention, particularly after Netflix featured it in Worst Ex Ever, introducing the case to a much wider audience.
The legal process could still involve further appeals, meaning the final outcome of Wilson’s de@th sentence has not yet been reached.
