A baby boy born with a cleft lip is touching hearts around the world after his family shared an emotional update following his successful surgery. 💙

Little Deacon, lovingly described by his family as “the perfect little boy,” recently underwent a major operation to repair the cleft lip he has lived with since birth. After what his mother, Emily, called “one of the longest days of my life,” the brave little fighter is now resting comfortably and recovering well. 🏥✨

During the delicate procedure, surgeons focused not only on repairing Deacon’s lip but also on restoring the shape of his nose, as the left side had become significantly flattened because of the severity of the cleft.
