💙✨ BABY ELIAS FACES A RARE HEART DEFECT — AND TAKES ANOTHER BRAVE STEP FORWARD

From the very beginning of his life, little Elias has faced a challenge most people could never imagine. 💔

Elias was born with double inlet left ventricle (DILV), a rare and serious congenital heart defect in which both of the heart’s upper chambers connect to the same lower pumping chamber.

Because of this unusual heart structure, oxygen-rich blood and oxygen-poor blood can mix together, making it difficult for his body to receive the oxygen it needs. 💙

But Elias is not facing this journey alone.

Recently, this tiny fighter underwent a Glenn procedure, an important stage in the surgical treatment of certain complex single-ventricle heart conditions. The road to recovery may still be long, but every step forward is a reminder of just how strong this little heart can be. 🫶✨

Behind Elias stands a family carrying enormous love, hope, and courage. And beside them are doctors, nurses, and an entire medical team working tirelessly to give him the best possible chance to grow stronger. 🙏💙
