When little Feyre was born, her parents never imagined that their beautiful baby girl would face such an extraordinary medical journey. 💗👶

Feyre was born with Hallermann-Streiff syndrome, an exceptionally rare craniofacial disorder that affects the development of the face, skull, skin and eyes. Her condition was unexpected, and from the very beginning, breathing was one of her greatest challenges. 💔🏥

Despite everything she was facing, Feyre remained a remarkably happy and spirited little girl. Her diagnosis affected her physical development, but her family says her mind and personality were untouched. 🌸💕

Her first months were spent largely in the hospital. Feyre fought through 103 days in the Seattle Children’s NICU, requiring intensive respiratory support because she struggled to breathe independently. 🙏💙

Eventually, doctors determined that she needed a tracheostomy, a permanent breathing tube that would allow her to receive ongoing ventilator support. Although the procedure changed her family’s daily life forever, it also gave Feyre the breathing ᴀssistance she desperately needed. 🏥✨

In total, Feyre spent 163 days in the hospital.

Then came one of the most emotional days her parents had been waiting for.

On December 20, just in time for Christmas, Feyre was finally able to go home. 🎄🏡💗

Home life was certainly not simple. Feyre required around-the-clock medical care, ventilator management, specialized equipment and constant coordination between her family and medical team.

But being home gave her something incredibly precious:

Her parents have devoted themselves to protecting Feyre’s quality of life and helping her experience as much happiness as possible. And despite everything she has endured, Feyre continues to smile, showing a strength far beyond her tiny size. 🌈👶✨
