💔🙏 HER DADDY FOUGHT FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES TO SAVE HER — NOW THIS 2-YEAR-OLD IS GIVING THREE OTHER CHILDREN A CHANCE TO LIVE

For more than 30 minutes, Dylan fought desperately to save his 2-year-old daughter.

He performed CPR, hoping against hope that little Macie Mae could be brought back after she made her way outside and into the family swimming pool.

Macie ultimately could not be saved.

But even in the midst of unimaginable grief, her story became one of extraordinary generosity and hope.

The Rockwall-area Texas toddler, lovingly known as “MooMoo” by her family, died following the drowning accident earlier this month.

Her father, Dylan, is an EMS supervisor and paramedic. According to a family member, he performed CPR until additional help arrived, and Macie was eventually flown to Children’s in Dallas.

Doctors discovered devastating damage to her brain.

Her parents, Dylan and Caitie, remained beside their little girl as they received the news no parent ever wants to hear.

Then, faced with the unbearable decision of saying goodbye, they chose to help other families.

Macie became an organ donor.

Her heart went to another child.

Her liver went to another.

And her kidney went to another.

Three children were given a chance at life because of Macie. ❤️

Dylan later wrote that everyone had been praying for a miracle for his daughter.

“We did not receive the miracle that we wanted,” he wrote.

But he believed God would work miracles through Macie.

And now, her family can see just how far that belief reached.

Macie’s life may have been heartbreakingly short, but her personality left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Her family remembered her as a fiercely independent little girl with an infectious laugh. She loved dancing, stealing snacks and shoes, getting into her mother’s makeup and celebrating loudly whenever her daddy came home from work. 🥹❤️

According to her obituary, Macie died in her parents’ arms, “safe, warm, and without pain.”

There is another deeply personal part of her story that makes her loss even more heartbreaking.

Macie was a twin.

Her twin brother, Logan James, died before her.

Now, as they mourn their daughter, her family finds comfort in believing that the two siblings are together again. 🕊️

The family’s grief is impossible to measure.

They lost a daughter.

They lost a sister.

They lost a little girl whose laughter and personality had filled their home.

But through Macie’s final gift, three other children were given a future their families may never have imagined possible.

Her life became a gift that continues.

Funeral services begin this evening, as loved ones gather to remember the little girl they called MooMoo.

Please keep Dylan, Caitie and Macie’s siblings in your thoughts and prayers as they face the days ahead without her.

🙏 Pray for comfort.

🙏 Pray for strength.

🙏 And remember the three children whose lives were changed forever because of Macie’s gift.

If you could leave Macie’s family one message of love right now, what would you want them to know? ❤️👇
