On July 4, 2026, Aleyna proudly walked across the graduation stage at Ankara University’s Ayaş Vocational School, marking not only an academic achievement but also a deeply emotional victory over unimaginable loss.

Her journey began during the powerful earthquakes that struck Türkiye on February 6, 2023. Trapped beneath the collapsed remains of her home, Aleyna endured an astonishing 248 hours before rescue teams finally reached her.

Her survival captured worldwide attention, earning her the nickname “Turkey’s Miracle Girl.”

Yet behind that remarkable rescue was heartbreaking sorrow.

The disaster claimed the lives of her mother, father, and siblings, leaving Aleyna to face the future without the family who had always dreamed of seeing her succeed.

Following her rescue, she was transported to Ankara University Hospital, where doctors treated her serious injuries and supported her through months of recovery. The road ahead was filled with physical and emotional challenges, but Aleyna remained determined to rebuild her life.
