đź’” Remembering Andrea, Kylie, and Laziyah Following a Tragic Florida Crash

A Florida community continues to remember three young girls whose lives were lost in a devastating crash, as the driver responsible has been sentenced to 73 years in prison.
Thirty-two-year-old Sean Greer pleaded no contest to multiple charges, including vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of a fatal crash, and leaving the scene of a crash involving serious bodily injury. The sentence was handed down following emotional testimony from families whose lives were forever changed by the tragedy.
The crash occurred in late December 2021, just two days after Christmas, when six young relatives were walking together from a park to a family member’s home. What should have been an ordinary walk through their neighborhood ended in unimaginable loss.

According to investigators, Greer was driving a Honda Accord at a high rate of speed when he attempted to pá´€ss a city bus that was merging onto the roadway. Authorities say his vehicle left the road, crossed onto the sidewalk, and struck the children as they walked along a designated pedestrian area.
Investigators emphasized that the children were simply walking together and were not engaged in any dangerous behavior at the time of the collision.
Six-year-old Andrea Fleming and five-year-old Kylie Jones died at the scene. Nine-year-old Laziyah Stukes survived the initial impact but suffered critical injuries. Despite months of medical treatment, she died on July 11, 2022, nearly seven months after the crash.
Three other children survived the collision, though their families say they continue to face the physical and emotional effects of the traumatic event.
Authorities also reported that Greer fled the scene after the crash. Investigators later confirmed that his driver’s license had been suspended since 2016, a detail that drew significant public attention during the case.
During sentencing, Greer expressed remorse and described the crash as an accident, telling the court he hoped the families would one day find peace.
For the victims’ loved ones, however, no sentence can replace the children they lost or erase the pain experienced by the surviving victims and their families. While the court’s decision represents accountability under the law, it cannot undo the lasting impact of that day.
The case has become a powerful reminder of the importance of responsible driving and the devastating consequences that reckless decisions can have on innocent lives.
