💔 “More Than 100 Injuries”: Pennsylvania Mother Convicted in Tragic Death of Adoptive Son

A Pennsylvania community has been left heartbroken following the conviction of Lauren Maloberti in connection with the death of her 5-year-old adoptive son, Landon Maloberti, whose devastating injuries revealed what prosecutors described as a prolonged pattern of abuse and neglect.

The tragic case began in January 2023 when emergency responders were called to the Maloberti family home in Delmont, Westmoreland County, after Landon was found unresponsive. The young boy was rushed to a local hospital before being transferred to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, where specialists immediately recognized signs of severe trauma.

Medical experts testified that Landon suffered more than 100 injuries across his body, including bruises, cuts, and significant trauma to his head, neck, torso, and limbs.
