‼️ Mother Faces Unimaginable Decision as Toddler Zaria’s Condition Continues to Decline 💔🙏

A mother is facing a question no parent ever expects to hear: What should doctors do if her little girl stops breathing again?
After years of fighting to give her daughter every possible chance, Tiffany is now confronting one of the hardest decisions of her life.
Tonight, she is asking for prayers, strength and support as Zaria’s condition continues to worsen. 🕊️

For those who have followed Zaria’s journey since April, her mother Tiffany’s determination has been unmistakable.

She has fought relentlessly for her little girl through countless treatments, hospital stays and frightening medical setbacks.

But this latest update is one Tiffany never wanted to share.

Zaria has continued to decline.

The toddler is now dependent on a wheelchair and can no longer sit independently, crawl or pull herself up. Abilities she once worked so hard to gain have gradually been lost.

Despite numerous medications, a VNS and major brain surgery, her seizures continue.

But increasingly, it is Zaria’s breathing that has become Tiffany’s greatest fear.

Her little girl has begun experiencing episodes in which she simply stops breathing.

In July, Zaria became completely unresponsive. A stranger began CPR while waiting for emergency responders to arrive, helping keep the little girl going until paramedics reached her.

Zaria survived that episode.

But it happened again.

Now Tiffany says the family lives with the terrifying possibility that the next time Zaria stops breathing, she may not begin again.

Zaria has been hospitalized once more. Doctors have performed additional testing, including a sleep study, as they search for answers and ways to keep her safe.

She lives with drug-resistant epilepsy, cerebral palsy and other significant medical challenges.

And doctors have had to prepare the family for a possibility no parent wants to hear: There may not be a way to reverse everything that is happening.

That led to a devastating conversation about end-of-life care.

Tiffany and her family are now being asked to consider whether to put a DNR — Do Not Resuscitate — order in place.

In other words, if Zaria’s breathing or heart stops again, should doctors attempt to revive her?

It is an unimaginable question for any parent.

And there is no simple answer that strangers online can give.

This is a deeply personal medical and family decision that must be made with Zaria’s loved ones and medical team, based on her individual circumstances and care goals.

But Tiffany is not asking thousands of people to make that decision for her.

She is asking them to stand beside her.

To pray for Zaria.

To pray for wisdom.

To pray for strength.

And to help carry the emotional weight of a decision that no mother should ever have to face. 🙏💔
