WAL TIMMY: RESCUE WITHOUT IFS AND BUTS — END THE SPECTACLE

WAL TIMMY: RESCUE WITHOUT IFS AND BUTS — END THE SPECTACLE

Every additional day that Timmy remains stranded is a day of pure torture. The whale, trapped in the shallow waters of the Baltic Sea, continues to suffer — growing weaker, helpless, and in agonizing pain. His body is deteriorating, and time is slipping away.

The rescue operation has already begun, but it must be completed without hesitation. Every moment counts. We hope Timmy is rescued today, for each extra day he is left there is another day of suffering, a slow descent into despair.

Life or Quick End: The Stakes Are Clear

If Timmy survives, he will be given a real chance at life. He will be freed to roam the vast ocean once more, where he belongs. However, if he dies during the rescue, his suffering will at least be brought to a swift end — a quick and dignified release from the agony he has been enduring for days. It would be the merciful option, sparing him from a prolonged death.

But if we halt the operation now, we risk leaving Timmy to continue suffering, helpless, unable to move or escape, as his body weakens further by the hour. If this is how it ends, then it is better to attempt the rescue, to offer him one last chance at freedom, or at least relieve him from the pain.

Surrender Is Not an Option

Canceling the operation now would be an act of surrender — an admission that we gave up before even trying. It would mean abandoning Timmy to his slow and painful demise, while the world watches in helpless silence. We cannot allow that to happen.

We owe it to Timmy, to this magnificent creature of the sea, to finish what we have started. Stopping now would be a devastating failure. It would mean giving in to helplessness and abandoning him to die in agony.

The Time to Act is Now

The rescue must continue. There is no more time to waste. Whether Timmy lives or dies, we must try. We must attempt to save him or release him from suffering, and we must do so without hesitation. This is our last chance to act.
