A devastating accident during a school field trip in Iowa has claimed the lives of a young elementary teacher and one of her students. On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, 24-year-old Hannah Jorgensen and 10-year-old Ahmed Osman entered the water at Lake Macbride State Park and did not survive.
