An individual “working on ᴀssembling the structures for” Shakira’s upcoming Brazil show died of “crushing injuries” over the weekend.

Six days before the singer is set to perform at Todo Mundo no Rio, event organizers confirmed a fatal incident on Sunday “tragically claimed the life of a professional.”

The concert’s official Instagram account revealed, “First responders provided initial care at the scene, and the Fire Department was immediately called to transport the patient. Unfortunately, the professional pᴀssed away at the hospital.”
