RACHEL DANIS SPOTTED IN NYC AS PATRICK CLANCY OPENS UP ABOUT BUILDING A NEW LIFE

Dr. Rachel Danis has been seen publicly in New York City for the first time since she and Patrick Clancy revealed that they are expecting a child together.

Danis, a reproductive endocrinologist and fertility specialist, was pH๏τographed in Manhattan on September 30, with a visible baby bump. The sighting comes shortly after the couple spoke with 60 Minutes correspondent Ross Douthat about their relationship, their plans for the future and Patrick’s continuing effort to honor the memory of his three children.

Patrick and Danis met while running in Central Park in New York. They married in April 2026, several months before Patrick’s former wife, Lindsay Clancy, went to trial in Mᴀssachusetts.

During the 60 Minutes interview, Danis said she wanted to support Patrick as he continues to grieve and help keep the memory of Cora, Dawson and Callan alive. Patrick also spoke about eventually telling his future child about their older siblings, describing them as an important part of his family’s story.

The couple’s announcement has drawn considerable public attention, particularly because it comes after years of intense scrutiny surrounding Patrick’s family tragedy and Lindsay Clancy’s criminal case.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Clancy’s legal situation remains unresolved. Her 2026 trial ended in a mistrial after jurors were unable to reach a unanimous verdict. The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office has not yet announced whether it will pursue another trial, negotiate another resolution or take a different course. A November court proceeding is expected to provide further information about what happens next.

For Patrick and Rachel, however, their focus now appears to be on moving forward while preserving the memory of the children who remain an important part of Patrick’s life.
