PART 2 — HE CALLED HER “LITTLE SISTER,” THEN ORDERED THE DOCTORS TO DOCUMENT EVERY INJURY. 🔥
The entire atrium seemed to stop breathing.
The man walked straight toward Elena.
His forty guards spread throughout the room.
Nobody dared to interfere.
He knelt beside her.
“Look at me.”
Elena’s eyes filled with tears.
“Don’t…”
Her voice was barely audible.
“You shouldn’t have come.”
His jaw тιԍнтened.
“I should have come years ago.”
Then he looked at the blood running down her face.
“Who did this?”
Elena glanced toward Julian.
Her husband had suddenly gone pale.
He tried to speak.
“She fell.”
The man slowly looked up.
“Did she?”
Nobody answered.
He stood.
“Doctors.”
Three doctors immediately rushed toward Elena.
“Document everything.”
Her brother pointed toward the bruising on her arm.
“The face. The shoulder. The abdomen. Everything.”
Julian stepped forward.
“You don’t have authority here.”
The man looked at him.
“You’re right.”
He pulled out his phone.
“I don’t need authority.”
He made one call.
“Freeze every account belonging to the Vance family.”
Julian’s face changed.
“What?”
Another call.
“Cancel the extension on their debt.”
Then another.
“Begin foreclosure proceedings.”
The hospital board members stared at one another.
Julian stepped backward.
“You can’t do this.”
The man walked toward him.
“You hit my pregnant sister.”
Julian swallowed.
“You’re her brother?”
The man nodded.
“The brother she protected from you.”
Elena closed her eyes.
For years, she had hidden her family name.
She had begged her brother to stay away.
Because she knew what would happen if he discovered how Julian treated her.
Now it was too late.
Julian looked around desperately.
“My family has contracts with this hospital!”
The man smiled coldly.
“Not anymore.”
A hospital executive’s phone suddenly rang.
He looked at the screen.
Then his face went pale.
“Mr. Vance…”
He hesitated.
“Your family’s primary accounts have been frozen.”
Julian stared at Elena.
“You did this?”
Elena slowly shook her head.
“No.”
She looked at her brother.
“He did.”
Her brother returned to her side.
He carefully took her hand.
“You spent years protecting everyone from me.”
Elena whispered:
“I didn’t want a war.”
He looked toward Julian.
“You should have thought about that before you touched her.”
Then a doctor rushed toward them.
“Sir…”
Everyone turned.
The doctor’s face was serious.
“We need to take Elena into surgery immediately.”
Her brother’s expression changed.
“Why?”
The doctor looked at Elena’s stomach.
“Her injuries may have affected the baby.”
Julian’s face went white.
For the first time that night, he looked genuinely terrified.
Elena was wheeled toward the emergency doors.
Her brother walked beside her.
Before the doors closed, he turned back toward Julian.
His voice was calm.
Almost frighteningly calm.
“You wanted to know what she was without you?”
He paused.
“She was my little sister long before she became your wife.”
The doors slammed shut.
And Julian finally understood.
He hadn’t just ᴀssaulted his pregnant wife.
He had declared war on the family she had spent years hiding from him.
