MICHIGAN. A Michigan family is mourning an unimaginable series of tr4g3d13s after Glenn Bradley Sr. l0st both of his children in less than a month.

The heartbreaking events have deeply affected the communities of Detroit and Ypsilanti Township, where family members, friends, neighbors and local leaders continue to offer support during this difficult time.

The family’s first loss came on June 27, when Aamina Bradley, 14, entered the Detroit River in an attempt to rescue her 9-year-old cousin during a family gathering at Maheras-Gentry Park.

Despite the efforts of her father, Glenn Bradley Sr., along with first responders from the Detroit Police Department, Detroit Fire Department, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the Harbor Master, Aamina was later recovered.

Her family remembers her as a brave, caring teenager whose final act was an attempt to save someone she loved.

Less than one month later, the family was struck by another devastating loss. On July 22, Glenn Bradley Jr., 15, suffered a f4t4l g*nsh0t 1njury inside a garage on Deer Track Drive in Ypsilanti Township.

According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office and statements from Glenn Bradley Sr., investigators believe another juvenile was handling a p1st0l when it unexpectedly discharged, striking the teenager.

Deputies responded shortly after 6:30 p.m. and attempted lifesaving measures, but Glenn Bradley Jr. was pronounced d34d at the scene.

Authorities have described the incident as appearing to be accidental, and the investigation remains active.

As the Bradley family grieves, members of the community have organized fundraisers and shared messages of support to help Glenn Bradley Sr. honor both Aamina Bradley and Glenn Bradley Jr. Friends describe the siblings as kind, compᴀssionate and always willing to help others, saying their memories will continue to inspire everyone who knew them.
