KYLE BEVAN MURDER: THREE INMATES SENTENCED AFTER ᴅᴇᴀᴅLY PRISON CELL ATTACK AT HMP WAKEFIELD

Three inmates have been sentenced to life imprisonment following the murder of fellow prisoner Kyle Bevan inside HMP Wakefield, a high-security prison in West Yorkshire.
According to court proceedings, the attack on the 31-year-old was carried out inside his cell and lasted less than five minutes. Prosecutors told the court that the ᴀssault appeared to have been pre-planned, involving improvised weapons and coordinated action by the three men.
Evidence presented during the trial stated that Bevan suffered multiple stab wounds during the incident. After the attack, the defendants reportedly moved his body onto the bed and covered it, in an apparent attempt to make it look as though he was asleep.

Surveillance footage shown in court allegedly captured the three inmates entering the cell together shortly before the attack and leaving again within minutes. Prosecutors said their behaviour afterwards appeared calm as they returned to their own cells.
Bevan had been serving a life sentence for the 2020 murder of his two-year-old stepdaughter, Lola James. His case had previously drawn widespread public attention in the UK due to the severity of the child’s injuries and the circumstances surrounding her death.
Prison authorities have not disclosed further operational details, but the incident has raised ongoing questions about safety and violence within high-security facilities.
The three men convicted of his murder were already serving lengthy sentences for serious violent offences prior to the attack.
