Renowned shaman Lee Hwa-rim (Kim Go-eun) and her talented protégé Yoon Bong-gil (Lee Do-hyun) are called from Korea to Los Angeles. Their investigation reveals the curse originates from a sinister ancestral grave hidden deep in the Korean countryside.

To solve the mystery, Hwa-rim recruits the legendary feng shui master Kim Sang-deok (Choi Min-sik) and the experienced undertaker Go Yeong-geun (Yoo Hae-jin). Together, this unlikely team of paranormal experts decides to exhume the ominous grave.
