BABY S CASE: FOUR ADULTS CHARGED AFTER NEWBORN GIRL’S D#ATH LEAVES SHEFFIELD COMMUNITY SHOCKED
A newborn baby girl’s d#ath has left a Sheffield community searching for answers after police launched an investigation into the tragic case.
The baby, known as Baby S, was found at a property in Holywell Heights, Wincobank. Prosecutors allege that the child suffered multiple injuries, with a post-mortem examination later confirming that her d#ath was caused by those injuries.
Four adults — Andrea Skopova, Peter Horvath Jr., Peter Horvath Sr. and Nina Horvathova — have now been charged with murder and remain in custody as the legal proceedings continue.
The case is expected to return to court next year, where the allegations against the four defendants will be examined. All four remain accused at this stage and are enтιтled to the presumption of innocence unless proven guilty.
For a community already shaken by the loss of a newborn child, the upcoming proceedings could bring further attention to the unanswered questions surrounding Baby S’s final days.
