FOUR girls under the age of 14 were allegedly raped in an apartment as police arrested four underage boys.

A police probe has been launched into the reported incident that is said to have taken place on Saturday evening in Halle, Germany

The force has arrested a group of boys, aged 13, 14, 15, and 16, suspected to be from Mali and Portugal.

Police spokesman, Alexander Junghans, said: “Now it must be determined whether and how many of the victims were victims of a Sєxual offence.

“The criminal investigation was launched immediately and is being conducted with the highest priority.”

The victims are said to be German girls under the age of 14.

The police said that two of the victims were taken to hospital and stayed overnight for treatment.

The forensic medicine department carried out tests to determine whether the victims had consumed alcohol or other substances like drugs or date- rape drugs.

A police spokesperson said: “The medical examinations carried out on the girls included tests for alcohol and other substances that could potentially impair consciousness or will.”

The three suspects aged 14 to 16 were arrested and taken into police custody.
