Angie Best Shares Emotional Struggle With Chemo Hair Loss

Angie Best, 73, has shared a deeply emotional update about the side effects of her cancer treatment, revealing that her hair is falling out following chemotherapy for advanced colon cancer that has spread to her liver.
The model and wellness advocate recently returned from Switzerland, where she underwent specialist treatment including traditional chemotherapy and Mistletoe therapy. Her son, Calum Best, confirmed her diagnosis in January and accompanied her home earlier this month to recover.
In a raw Instagram video, Angie held handfuls of her long blonde hair and admitted: “Oh my lord. Have a look at this. Ugh. I’m going to have to develop a sense of humour about being bald. I don’t know if I can do that one, though. Honest to God, when will it stop, for [bleep]s sake.” She also confessed, “I can’t do wigs.”
Support flooded in from fans, many praising Angie’s strength and encouraging her that she would look beautiful no matter what. One follower wrote: “Angie, you could go about in a bin bag and still look stunning.” Another shared: “This is your healing process… channel your inner Glastonbury.”
Angie’s candid update offers a powerful glimpse into her fight against cancer, showing her bravery as she faces the physical and emotional challenges of treatment.
