A deeply emotional story from Maracanaú, Brazil, has drawn attention after David César continued to care for his wife, Bruna de Sousa, following a severe medical emergency that dramatically changed her life.

According to reports, in 2018 Bruna suffered sudden convulsions that led to cardiorespiratory arrest. Her heart reportedly stopped for several minutes before medical teams were able to revive her after intensive resuscitation efforts.
