A celebrity suffered a nasty lip injury during their Bushtucker trial on Thursday night’s episode.

Dean McCullough, 32, caused concern amongst fans as he displayed a bloody gash on his mouth following his trial.

The radio star quit yet another Bushtucker trial after struggling to come to terms with fish guts in the challenge.

Dean had to get the star using his mouth while having his head surrounded by cockroaches, crickets and mealworms, giant lizards, snakes and spiders in different tubes.

But afterwards, fans noticed Dean had ‘blood’ on his lip and ᴀssumed it was from the trial.

Voicing their concern, fans wrote on X: ‘bless him for getting 4 stars tho. also has anyone noticed that Dean has cut his lip’,

Dean had two minutes to complete an experiment, which will be worth 2 stars, in the experimentation area.

He then had to make his way through seven different containment areas, where a further eight stars were up for grabs.

Dean told Ant and Dec: ‘I like to overpromise and underdeliver.’

During the first experiment, he had to combine both a green liquid and a clear liquid into the test tube together to create a chemical reaction. 

Half way through the trial, he said: ‘This is not looking good boys.’

As he successfully created a chemical reaction by combining the two liquids, he won two stars for camp and moved on to the containment areas.

As fish guts poured into the compartment, Dean immediately shouted: ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’

After winning two more stars in containment areas one and three, he then moved onto area five.

GK and Dean were left ‘mortified’ as they took zero stars back to camp after failing the Bushtucker Trial on Wednesday.

The duo were voted by the public to take on the Down In The Drumps trial on Tuesday, in order to earn meals for the group.
