Coleen Nolan announced her son Jake Roche had welcomed a baby boy with his partner Georgia during Thursday’s episode of Loose Women. 

The presenter, 59, she first became a grandma in 2016 when her eldest son Shane Jr, welcomed a daughter, Amelia Rose. 

Coleen shares Shane, 35, and Jake, 32, from her first marriage to Shane Richie. She also has Ciara, 23, with her second husband Ray Fensome, who she divorced in 2018. 

Speaking on the show, she said: ‘I’ve got some good news to announce on my baby boy Jake and his gorgeous fiancée Georgia had a baby boy. 

‘So I’ve got a little grandson now, I’ve not even seen him yet apart from pictures and videos.’

Revealing she’s not seen him yet, Coleen added: ‘He was 5lbs7, he’s tiny! Nanny! Really surreal, so emotional and just a bit… surreal as in, when one of your kids has a baby. Jake to me is still my baby and there he is now a dad!

‘The fact that he was so emotional, already he’s like, “Mum, I’m so so obsessed with him and so in love with him.” 

‘The two of them together. She’s only just got home with him and they just want to have this week quiet getting to know him as a couple then they have no excuses, I’m going to hound them, then they’re getting married next July so he’ll be about seven months.’

Coleen first revealed that she was set to become a grandmother again back in June. 

She wrote in her column for The Mirror: ‘I can finally reveal that I’m going to be a grandmother again, as they’re expecting a baby at the end of the year. 

‘On Saturday, a few of us got together at my house for the gender reveal and, just as I said, ‘I think it’s a boy’.

‘Jake let off the confetti gun and turned the living room blue. I couldn’t be more thrilled about having a grandson.’ 

Jake revealed that he and Georgia were set to welcome a child together earlier this month when he cancelled his tour with his band Rixton.

Sharing a post to Instagram, he wrote: ‘Due to an unexpected yet exciting family development, I’ve decided to reschedule my upcoming November shows – 21/22/23.

‘My partner and I are expecting the arrival of our little one around that time (sooner than we thought), and I want to be fully present to support her and our growing family.

Thank you for your patience & understanding. Here’s to the future of Nepo babies.’  

Over the summer Coleen shared a rare pH๏τo of herself and her three children on Instagram following the news that her daughter had become engaged.

The Loose Woman panellist beamed as she posed outside with her grown up children Shane, Jake, and Ciara and gushed they ‘are my life’.

Speaking on the ITV show, she said: ‘We were asked today on Loose to choose a key pH๏τo that would symbolise your life story.

‘This is mine, my kids are my life. Love this pH๏τo of us all together xx.’

Fans rushed to comment on the ‘fantastic’ pH๏τo as many noted how much her daughter looks like her.

The daughter of the singer shared the happy news, revealing Max popped the question during a holiday in Vietnam.

Ciara posted a pH๏τo of the couple holding hands as she showed off her new engagement ring and revealed Max proposed during a late night boat ride. 

‘This happened last night xxxx’ she wrote alongside a pH๏τo of the ring. ‘It was like a fairytale and I can’t wait to spend forever with you @maxxiness I love you xxx’. 

After the news, Coleen shared a pH๏τo of the happy couple to her Instagram and wrote: ‘Well what can I say… I’m so so delighted that @maxxinnes has asked my beautiful girl @ciarafensome to marry him. 

‘I love them both sooooo much. Miss them even more! Can’t wait to see them. Off to buy a hat.’
