Country singer Sam Hunt and his wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, are expecting baby No. 3.

“It’s about to get real,” Hunt, 39, quipped during a Wednesday, November 20, appearance on Audacy’s “Katie & Company” podcast, teasing Fowler’s due date on May 30, 2025. “I’m elated. I can’t wait.”

Hunt and Fowler, 39, already share daughter Lucy, 2, and son Lowry, 12 months, who are slightly aware that they will soon have a new sibling.

“[Lucy] sort of [understands.] We talk about it,” Hunt joked. “I say, ‘Mama has a baby on the way,’ and we’ll point to her belly and she says, ‘No. I have a baby on the way.’ So, not quite.”

The “Body Like a Back Road” performer and Fowler got married in April 2017. Five years later, Fowler filed for divorce and claimed that Hunt was “guilty of inappropriate marital conduct” and adultery.

Hunt never publicly addressed the accusations, and the couple ultimately reconciled several months later as Fowler dismissed her legal peтιтion. They went on to welcome Lucy in May 2022.

“I recently had a baby girl named Lucy Lu. I think being out here — and in the music business and being out on the road — has sort of hardened my heart,” Hunt gushed during the Stars for Second Harvest charity concert in June 2022. “My heart’s definitely a lot harder in a lotta ways since I left that small town. It’s amazing how that little girl melted that all away overnight a couple of weeks ago.”

Less than one year later, Hunt confirmed that Fowler was pregnant again. The duo welcomed Lowry in November 2023.

In addition to growing his family, Hunt is also bolstering his music catalog and recently released a new single тιтled “Liberty.”

“I wrote most of it back in 2020,” he recalled to podcast host Katie Neal. “This song just kept hanging around and the sentiment, the tone of the song, I felt like was relevant now and so I thought, ‘I’m going to go record it and get it out.’”

He added, “That song is one of about four or five songs that I have for my next project, whether that’s me putting out songs one at a time or puttin’ them all out at once. I’m still in that phase of putting songs out one song at a time so I don’t go away for too long.”

Hunt also hopes to “take a break” from touring in the next few years.

“The crowds have been so great and I want to get out there and tour while my kids are young and they’re able to come with me, they’re not in school and I’m not gonna miss too much yet at home,” he said. “And while people are interested in hearing us play, I don’t want to take that for granted.”
