GK Barry opened up about coming out to her parents and facing online trolling to her campmates on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on Tuesday night. 

GK, 25,- who’s real name is Grace Keeling – is currently dating Ipswich Town footballer Ella Rutherford, 24. 

She admitted sometimes it is hard to ‘ignore the outside noise’ but she has always been open with her followers about her Sєxuality. 

GK and Ella went public with their romance in June and two months later the podcaster hinted they had secretly tied the knot as she referred to the footballer as her ‘wife.’

She explained: ‘Obviously online I’d been like I’d slept with girls or whatever as well, but I’d only dated men.

‘It was by accident I found Ella, through a mutual friend and then I really liked her the first day I met her but I’d never told my parents.

‘I’d mentioned, “Oh I’m just going to see my friend Ella” or “I’m staying round Ella’s” so they’d heard her name.’

Grace explained how her parents came to visit her at her house and Ella was there prompting her parents to ask, ‘Who’s Ella?’ and she told them: ‘Oh. she’s my girlfriend’.

Joking she continued: ‘To be fair I feel like the closet may have been glᴀss! They just love her, they never had an issue with it.’

‘They’ve always said whoever you end up with we do not care, boy or girl we don’t care, as long as they’re not a d*ck.’

Jane Moore agreed: ‘All you ever want is for your kids to be happy, it doesn’t matter who it’s with.’

Loose Women star Jane also asked GK what she was like at school, she replied: ‘I was really lanky… buck teeth, gap, hairy arms, greasy hair.’

She revealed she over came it by ‘watching the boxsets of Miranda to learn how to be funny.’

Grace, who has 3.6 million followers on TikTok, 61,000 subscribers on YouTube and impressive 895K fans on Instagram revealed that trolling does sometimes bother her.

Jane asked her: ‘Would you go into a crowded bar and go up to someone you don’t know and say, ‘Excuse me, what do you think of me?’

GK said: ‘No, never.’ prompting Jane to reply: ‘So then why would you do it online?’

She added: ‘It’s really hard to ignore the outside noise though, when you do radio and telly now. When I started telly back in the day, no social media or anything it was heaven.’

Offering a quote of wisdom to the group, Jane said: ‘I could shrink myself to be digestible for you, but actually I’m just going to be myself and let you choke.’ 

She told GK: ‘So channel that next time you decide to look at the comments!’ 

Grace first sH๏τ to fame on the app during the first Covid-19 lockdown when she started making TikToks about her daily life while studying film at Nottingham Trent University.

Before entering the jungle, GK admitted the thing she would miss most outside the jungle would be her girlfriend.

‘When you are missing home and all you want is your comfort people, then that will be hard if they are not there,’ she confessed.

‘But my girlfriend is also very excited for me and thinks I will do really well. I have got her a cardboard cut out of me so it’s not weird when I am away!’

Though Grace initially kept their romance a secret, referring to Ella as ‘eyelashes’ on her podcast, Saving Grace, it wasn’t long before the TikTok born TV star revealed the idenтιтy of her partner.

Speaking to former Love Island star Anna Vakili on TikTok, she admitted falling for Ella after seeing her profile on the social media platform.

Grace said: ‘I saw her Instagram and I thought ‘hello!” adding that they then followed each other – and the rest is history.

On her Loose Women appearance in August, Grace said she and the Ipswich Town player had moved in together after their first date.

She said: ‘First date, she moves in, never left, love that for us!’ She then added that they’d even spoken about having kids by date three.
