Big Brother finalists Jordan Sangha and Henry Southan sent fans into a frenzy on Tuesday as they shared a huge new relationship update.

The pair left viewers gripped when their close friendship blossomed into romance last year, and just a week after their BB exit, they made things official.

Taking to Instagram to share a surprise new clip, Jordan and Henry sparked a fan frenzy by hinting that they had got engaged, a little over a year to the day since they departed the BB house.

However, all is not as it seems, as the tongue-in-cheek post was actually announcing their new podcast together, Club Sandwich, which launches on Wednesday.

In the weekly series, fans can join Henry and Jordan’s world every week as they delve deeper into their daily life and hilarious differences, through the lens of their shared obsession.

The clip showed a loved-up Henry and Jordan enjoyined a romantic stroll together, before the food writer suddenly got down on one knee.

However, instead of presenting him with a ring, Henry offered his boyfriend a sandwich instead, before announcing that the launch of their new podcast was just hours away.

Sharing the clip on both of their accounts, the post was captioned: ‘We said yes!’

‘…but not to what you think!’ We’re thrilled to announce @ClubSandwichpod, our brand-new podcast that’s (kind of) about sandwiches, but really about so much more. Join us every Wednesday as we serve up laughs, stories, and dish out the goss!’

While many fans were quick to share their delight at the podcast’s announcement, others confessed that they were initially excited by news of an engagement.

Comments under the post included: ‘If this is the reaction to a podcast, what are we all going to be like when u actually get engaged;

‘I thought Henry was gonna propose; I was more than excited then!! However I am so, so excited for the podcast, made my day, proud of you both;

Back in March, Jordan and Henry shared how they were ‘taken aback’ to see the ‘endearing’ reactions from fans of their romance on social media.

The couple, who moved in together in January, also shared their plans to kickstart their TV and writing careers, as well as the ‘very romantic’ moment they first reunited three days after leaving the house in November.

After a secret chat during a fire evacuation, the pair’s romance came to light days later, and after sharing a steamy first kiss, they continued to grow closer as the weeks developed.

Fans were fuming when Rosie was brutally evicted just days before the final, with Nathan fighting back tears as they bid an emotional farewell in a twist viewers branded ‘unfair.’

Nathan went onto reach the final, finishing in fifth place, while Ali Bromley was crowned winner.
