Gladiator star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey is the fourth celebrity confirmed for this year’s Strictly Christmas Special.
The British Olympian, 36, also known as Nitro, is one of six famous faces who will be taking to the dancefloor for the festive edition of the BBC compeтιтion.
Harry will be swapping his rigid gym and exercise routine for dazzling ensembles as he prepares to make his debut on the dancefloor.
Masterchef star Harry also boasts a host of professional sporting achievements, including competing as a team GB Commonwealth and World gold medallist sprinter.
The athlete has competed at the highest level in the UK since his youth. After becoming the first athlete to win gold medals at both 100 and 200 metres at the World Youth Championships, he won 2005 BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year age 17.
Harry has gone on to win gold 4 x in the men’s 100m European Championships and at the Commonwealth Games.

On Monday night’s Strictly’s It Takes Two, Harry was announced to be taking part in the 2024 lineup alongside professional dancer Nancy Xu.
Harry said: ‘STRICTLY….ARE YOU READY?! Nitro’s blasting onto the Ballroom floor this Christmas!
‘I’m swapping my trainers for dancing shoes, and trust me, I’m bringing the power, the energy and the moves!
‘This December I’m gonna light up that dancefloor and crank the Christmas spirit all the way UP. Let’s do this!’
Also taking part in this year’s Christmas Special is drag queen Tayce, comedian Josh Widdicombe and Vogue Williams.
Vogue will be paired with professional dancer Carlos Gu, Josh is partnered with professional dancer Karen Hauer, while Tayce is paired with Kai Widdrington.
Vogue is from Ireland and her broadcast work has ranged from presenting documentaries and hosting studio shows, to appearing in her own reality show.
She is often seen presenting the fashion and red carpet segments on ITV’s Lorraine.

The beauty is also known for her marriage to former Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews and the pair co-host the podcast Spencer And Vogue together.
Vogue is no stranger to the ballroom as she previously took part in the Australian version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars, in 2012 where she was third eliminated.
Welsh-born Tayce sH๏τ to fame as a finalist on season two of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
She has often been given the moniker as the Naomi Campbell of Drag and models across the world in runway fashion shows.
She has also done presenting stints on BBC Radio 1, MTV and Sky and even released her own rap single.
It comes after on Monday Josh joked that he may be ‘about to ruin’ Christmas for everyone with his participation, while Tayce confessed she was honoured to be the first drag artist to take to the Strictly dancefloor.
Speaking about the announcement on Monday, Josh said: ‘I am utterly terrified this will end in humiliation and worried I’m going to be so bad I will ruin Christmas for the nation. Why have I done this?’
Fans of Strictly and Josh alike went wild for the news, taking to X shortly after the announcement to share their delight he would be taking part.

Over the course of his career, Josh has become known for hosting The Last Leg alongside Alex Brooker and Adam Hills for Channel 4 and has also appeared on the likes of A League Of Their Own, Have I Got News For You and Taskmaster.
Josh is currently best known for his popular parenting podcast, Parenting Hell, which he hosts alongside fellow funnyman Rob Beckett.
Josh and Rob release episodes twice a week and typically one of the episodes will include a celebrity parent who they interview for the show.
The pre-recorded episode – which airs on December 25 – will see each of the couples perform a festive-themed routine in the hope of impressing the judges, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas, as well as the voting studio audience.
The remaining Christmas lineup will be announced on Strictly: It Takes Two in due course.
Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Christmas Day.
