John Patrick Amedori pulled off a bold and beautiful proposal last month when asking Annika Noelle to be his wife.
“He planned an entire day, full of activities that reflected the journey of our relationship thus far,” Noelle, 37, told People on Monday, November 18, confirming their engagement. “From the experiences, to the food, to the music, it was incredibly thoughtful and personal to us.”
The Bold and the Beautiful actress, who has played Hope Logan since 2018, revealed that after Amedori, 37, popped the question, they drove to see Douglas Roegiers somewhere in the Los Angeles area.
“[Roegiers] dedicated a song just for us two on our special night, and we spent the evening dancing,” Noelle recalled.

“High Tides x Moon Eyes,” the actress captioned a series of black-and-white pH๏τo booth pictures of the couple via Instagram. In one snap, the pair kissed and in a separate pH๏τo they made silly faces.
Four months later, Amedori was by Noelle’s side when she was nominated for her second Daytime Emmy for the soap opera. “Oh what a night ✨ #DaytimeEmmys,” Noelle wrote via Instagram in June, sharing pH๏τos of the twosome on the red carpet. “Grateful. Thankful. Blessed. @daytimeemmys.” (Noelle lost to Michelle Stafford from The Young and the Restless.)

The duo later ventured up the California coast in August, visiting Hearst Castle, and enjoyed trips to Big Sur and Carmel, California, in the fall.
In September, Noelle showed Amedori support when his Starz series, Three Women, premiered. “When you swore you’d never date an actor but now you get to watch him grow up on screen …” Noelle wrote via Instagram alongside a video watching Amedori’s performance.
“So proud of you @john_patrickamedori 🤍 cannot wait to watch #ThreeWomen on @starz a week from today 📺,” she added.
They capped off October by getting engaged and are now in wedding planning mode.

“I’m elated,” Amedori told People of getting to marry Noelle. “I fall more and more in love every day. It really is wild how quickly life can change for the better when you meet your person.”

Noelle added that Amedori’s “kind heart” and “quick wit” are some of her favorite qualities in her fiancé.
“I am constantly in awe of his talent,” she added. “He’s a keeper.”
Amedori — who may also be known for his role as Aaron Rose on Gossip Girl — concluded: “From the moment I met her, I knew there was no hiding. She encourages one to be their truest self. She also has great taste in music.”
