Gypsy Rose Blanchard seemingly quieted split rumors by revealing the name of her and Ken Urker’s baby girl.
Blanchard, 33, had a baby shower in Louisiana on Saturday, November 16, the same weekend The Blast reported that she and Urker were on the rocks.
“Ken and I were so excited to have a beautiful celebration that our daughter Aurora Raina Urker can look back on and see how our community welcomed and embraced her with love,” Blanchard shared in a statement to People. “She will be supported and given all the happiness a child should experience.”
In July, Gypsy announced that she is expecting her first baby with Urker, 31, following her release from prison. (She spent seven years in prison for her role in the 2025 murder of her mom, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard.)

“I know the rumors have been flying around for quite some time now, and I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant. Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January 2025,” she gushed in a YouTube video at the time, noting the baby was “not planned,” but the twosome “are both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood.”
Following her announcement, rumors began swirling that her ex-husband, Ryan Scott Anderson, could be the father of the baby.
“There’s been a lot of chatter around the paternity of our baby and while we’ve known for sure from the beginning, I feel that it’s finally time to put all these theories to rest,” she wrote via Instagram in November while sharing the results of her prenatal paternity test, which identified Urker as the father. “Ken is going to be an incredible dad, and we are so excited to welcome our baby girl into the world. 💗.”
Gypsy and Urker began talking after he wrote her a “letter of support” in 2017 while she was incarcerated. Urker eventually visited in prison — and things took a romantic turn when they kissed.
“He came and it was kind of a funny story but within the first 30 minutes he leaned over and gave me the most wonderful kiss of my whole life,” she told E! News in 2019. “The kiss he gave me was quite pᴀssionate. I looked at him and was like, ‘I didn’t even know you liked me like that,’ and he said, ‘Yeah, I have for a while.’ And I’m like, ‘I have for a while too.’”

The twosome got engaged during a prison visit in October 2018, however, they ended up going their separate ways in August 2019. Gypsy ended up marrying Anderson, 38, in 2022 during a prison ceremony.
Following her divorce from Anderson in April, Gypsy confirmed that she and Urker had rekindled their romance that same month.
“After reconnecting earlier this month, we realized that our love for each other is simply undeniable, and life is too short to not take a chance,” she told TMZ in April. “We have a history that made for the perfect foundation for a new beginning. We are together and in a wonderful place in our relationship. We know it is going to be a long road ahead but are excited for the future.”
