The Emilia Perez star, 32, wore a black dress covered in sequins, giving it some serious sparkle.

The dress featured a crisp white collar and cuffs and the Only Murders in the Building actress accessorized with silver drop earrings.

Selena wore her raven hair pulled back into an elegant and sleek updo.

The Wizards of Waverly Place alum’s makeup featured smokey eyes with brown eyeshadow and berry-colored lips. 

She was joined by her Emilia Perez costars Zoe Saldana and Karla Sofia Gascon.

The Governors Awards recognizes extraordinary lifetime achievement in cinema and exceptional contributions to the film industry as well as outstanding achievements and humanitarian work.

The gala honored Richard Curtis, Barbara Broccoli, Michael G. Wilson, Juliet Taylor and the late Quincy Jones with 2024 honorary Oscars.

The glamour and sophistication were dialled up to the max as Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Angelina Jolie, Daniel Craig, Jennifer Lopez, Andrew Garfield, Jennifer Lawrence, Kevin Costner and Sharon Stone were among the A-list names who stepped out for the event.

Emilia Perez is getting a lot of Oscar buzz and it is only a matter of time before the Academy Award nominations come out and possibly a Disney Channel star will get a nod.

Disney recently rebooted as Wizards Beyond Waverly Place and Selena made a cameo appearance in the pilot. 

Selena is an executive producer on the new show and has revealed she will be back for one of the last two episodes.

She broke the news with a heartwarming behind-the-scenes Instagram album from the finale shoot, which appeared to have taken place in front of a studio audience. 

‘NOTHING will ever beat making little kids laugh,’ Gomez wrote in the caption of the Instagram post she shared with posts from the shoot.

‘Thank you @disneywizardsseries for making the little girl in me so happy!! Hope you guys watch!!’

The original series aired on The Disney Channel from 2007 to 2012. The spinoff debuted last month.

Selena gushed about the show to People at its premiere in October.

‘It’s the best feeling in the whole world to be able to bring this back for you, and to all the people who have never seen it before.’

She added, ‘This is what gave me everything that I have today, and I’ll never forget that this is where I started.
