Patrick Mahomes’ personal trainer threw some shade at the Buffalo Bills after the team handed the Kansas City Chiefs their first loss in nearly a year.
“Buffalo with the 5th consecutive regular season Super Bowl championship,” Bobby Stroupe wrote via X on Sunday, November 17, shortly after the Bills defeated the Chiefs 30-21.
Stroupe, the founder and president of ATHLETE Performance Enhancement Center, was making a cheeky reference to the Bills’ regular season prowess in recent years, which has not translated to success in the postseason.
Buffalo has not made the Super Bowl since 1994, while the Chiefs are currently attempting the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

The good-natured ribbing did not sit well with some Bills fans, who were in the midst of reveling in their team handing the Chiefs their first defeat since a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day in 2023.
“If you say it without being snarky, it would sound like you actually have respect for the team that just humbled you for the first time this season,” one person responded to Stroupe via X. “You were undefeated. Now you’re not. Regular season or not. Mahomes isn’t infallible.”
Another wrote, “Those grapes are sour bro. Return them to the store for a refund.”
Stroupe extended an olive branch to Bills fans on Monday, November 18, acknowledging the magnitude of their big victory while shouting out Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen.

“As far as our approach, I call it the cake system because — I’m really corny — but basically there’s eight layers to this,” Stroupe told People in September. “There’s eight different things that we focus on: movement literacy, force absorption, force transmission, pattern stability, tissue resiliency, mobility, stability and flexibility.”
He added, “When most people are resting the day after the game, we really work. There’s about three to three and a half hours worth of soft tissue work, mobility work, range of motion work, and just general health. Trying to make sure that the 26 bones in your foot, the 640 muscles, the 12 fascial lines, everything’s got to be in working order.”
The Chiefs return to action Sunday, November 24 against the Carolina Panthers.
