EXCLUSIVEBig Brother winner Ali Bromley reveals she ‘hasn’t spoken’ to Marcello Spooks about their fiery final night row – and shares sweet plans for her £90k prize money

Big Brother winner Ali Bromley has revealed she ‘hasn’t spoken’ to Marcello Spooks about their fiery final night row, which took place just hours before she was crowned series champion.

The forensic psychologist, 38, had clashed with the rapper yet again after weeks of tension between them, when the housemates began to question her friendship with housemate Lily Benson.

While the pair did appear to quash things before the final, Ali told MailOnline that after her row with Marcello was discussed during her exit interview on Late and Live, they haven’t yet discussed the conflict, but did share a taxi after the wrap party.

She said: ‘So Marcello and I haven’t spoken since the wrap party, but I think that’s more because we’re both just getting back in contact with our friends and family. We shared a taxi back to the H๏τel from the wrap party.

‘As far as I’m aware, there’s no lingering or ongoing animosity, and I think we both know and have spoken in the house about how difficult and different the environment is in there and how it impacts how you resolve disagreements or don’t resolve disagreements.

‘So we haven’t spoken, but that’s not a reflection necessarily on our relationship moving forward or about how we feel about each other.’

Ali beat out Marcello to be crowned Big Brother champion during Friday’s live final, while Emma Morgan finished in third place.

She was followed by Hanah Haji in fourth, Nathan King in fifth and Segun Shodipo in sixth place.

During her stint in the house, Ali did ruffle feathers with her unbiased opinions on the other housemates, and in particular she clashed with Khaled Khaled who she accused of being ‘fake.’

Despite the pair parting on good terms when Khaled was evicted in week five, Ali revealed that their exchange at the show’s final was ‘brief.’

She added: ‘From my perspective, I’ve always said that there’s things about Khaled that I like, and there were times when other housemates might be calling him boring.

‘Actually, those are the times where I really enjoyed Khaled’s company because he would sort of get really excited about films or books or subjects that maybe other people didn’t want to talk about and that I was like, ”yes, this is the Khaled that I like.”

‘I want to hear more about this, so from my perspective, everything’s fine. We’re out of the house now, we can all breathe and hopefully, you know, move forward without any lingering animosity.’

However, she went onto tell MailOnline that after candidly discussing her ADHD diagnosis on the show, she hopes it will to remind viewers that there’s ‘no shame’ in having the disorder, or seeking medical help for it.

She said: ‘I’ve avoided having to kind of explain what it means or what it is or how it impacts me because, oftentimes if you tell someone when you’ve got ADHD or if you have autistic traits, but you look to their eyes like you’re coping well and you’re managing well, they sort of wouldn’t necessarily believe you or understand how it’s impacting you, so I usually avoid talking about it.

‘But in the house I was like, ”you know what, it’s really relevant”. The housemates need to understand what I’m dealing with because it will impact my interactions, especially in this environment because it’s so pressured and there was a real sensory overwhelm in there, there was light, there was was sounds, you know, that I wasn’t used to being around.

‘There was no place to kind of be alone and sort of self soothe or calm myself down, so I just tried to be open about it and I suppose that’s what I would want anyone who saw that to take away from it is that it’s OK to kind of talk about these things.

‘There’s absolutely no shame in getting a diagnosis or seeking help if you need it. There’s no shame in getting therapeutic intervention, there’s no shame in medication. Whatever you need to make the world feel more manageable is absolutely OK. And that’s what I would like you people to take from that really.’

During her time on the show, viewers saw Ali form a close friendship with Chinese takeaway worker Lily Benson, and she even fondly referred to her as her ‘little sister.’

Ali told MailOnline that after Lily’s eviction a week earlier, it was a ‘lovely moment’ when they were reunited at the final, and they’re already making plans to meet up.

She said: ‘I feel so emotional about our relationship and how we kind of bonded in the House. And I’ve seen some really sweet kind of video edits of interactions between us across the series, so it was lovely seeing her again.

‘We had a FaceTime last night and I met her mum via FaceTime, so we’re keeping in touch and making plans to kind of get together and hopefully carry on some of the fun we had in the house.’

Ali shared that she is planning to spend some of her £90,000 prize money on her newfound friend, revealing: ‘I really in the house believed that I would be being perceived so negatively on the outside, I never imagined winning and I never allowed myself to get into that headspace of thinking that I could be a potential winner.

‘However, what I have said is that I’m gonna pay for Lily to go to Ibiza next year, that was what she was talking about was her dream and she really wanted to do that.

‘She’s determined that I’m gonna come with her, but that’s to be confirmed. I don’t know how. Let’s see what happens there…. she’ll probably survive it better than I will!’

Reflecting on her final week in the house, Ali shared that after Lily’s departure it proved to be one of her most challenging times on the show.

She said: ‘It was really difficult. And something that surprised me was how emotional I felt when my friends left, because in the outside world, if you’ve known someone for a couple of weeks, it wouldn’t necessarily impact you that much If they moved on to some other job or wherever it is they’re moving on from.

‘But I was very, very emotional and obviously I’d had tensions with Khaled and I’d had tensions with Marcello. So the thought of then being left with a group of people that possibly were not my closest friends or might have had some thoughts about me that weren’t wholly positive. I felt really anxious and really worried.

‘I spoke about it in the diary room. I’m sure a lot of that has been out there, how lost I felt for some of that time, but I kind of came out of the Diary Room and would give myself a pep talk that I’m just gonna try and get to know everybody because I have to take some responsibility for how my relationships were in the house.

‘It’s no wonder that there was some apprehension on their side about getting to know me as well. So I just thought, keep doing what I’m doing, keep being myself.’

Asked about her plans now she’s bid farewell to the famous house, Ali shared that for the first time she has no idea what the future holds.

She said: ‘So at the moment I don’t have a plan which is really unusual for me. I normally, I’m always working towards the next stage of my career or the next adventure. But right now I don’t have a plan, and maybe that’s quite nice for a little while.’
