Charli XCX impersonated Adele in a humorous skit as she took on double duty as the host and musical guest during the latest episode of Saturday Night Live.
The Boom Clap singer, 32 – who was recently nominated for seven Grammy awards – sent fans wild as they applauded the British-born star’s comedic skills as she appeared in a variety of sketches.
Charli – whose full name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison – had the chance to step into the shoes of the Someone Like You hitmaker during a Wicked audition skit.
SNL comedians portrayed a number of different celebrities who had auditioned for a role in the musical adaptation in ‘never-before-seen screen tests.’
At one point, Charli stepped out in front of the camera wearing a black velvet dress – similar to an ensemble that Adele has worn during her Las Vegas residency.

Yang wore a long, black wig as well as a black dress and shades while the singer simply wore a white tank top and blue pants.
‘Can I call you Elfie?’ Bowen asked Charli, who simply responded in a monotone voice, ‘No.’
