Rebekah Vardy has propositioned ITV with the idea of getting her on this series’ I’m A Celeb so she can confront Coleen Rooney. 

The WAG, 42, headed down under herself back in 2017, yet she is willing to face the critters again and arrive as a surprise late entry if it means she gets to hatch her ‘revenge plot’ against her rival.

Coleen, who was locked in the infamous ‘ Wagatha Christie ‘ trial with Rebekah in 2022, has been paid a reported £1.5 million to star on the ITV series this year as she joins fellow contestants Strictly’s Oti Mabuse, McFly’s Danny Jones and TikTok star GK Barry.

Teasing an epic reunion between the pair, Rebekah told The Sun: ‘If people really want us to meet up before that, then ITV should get me in that jungle as a special guest. What are they scared of? Confrontation? But isn’t that what the show’s all about? It’s about viewing figures.’

Continuing to hit back at Coleen she added: ‘Coleen’s legal team were very dismissive about my reality TV past. They mocked it. So for her to be doing the jungle now, it’s hypocrisy at its finest, isn’t it? 

‘I think there was always a plan for reinvention. She stayed out of the public eye for so long.’

While Rebekah admitted she will watch Coleen on the show, she believes the wife of Wayne Rooney will have a game plan going in as she described her as ‘quite calculated’. 

Coleen’s appearance on the show comes after she won a libel court case against Rebekah , whom she accused of leaking stories about her in 2019.

Rebekah lost the high-profile legal dispute in 2022, having sued Coleen for libel and said she was ‘devastated’ by the outcome.

It is believed Rebekah’s team of lawyers will be on high alert and ready to take action if her archenemy says anything derogatory about her on air.

Meanwhile Rebekah was unveiled as The Sun’s I’m A Celeb columnist on Friday as she joked she hopes Coleen is forced to ‘eat penis or humble pie’ in the I’m A Celebrity jungle.

Rebekah blasted Coleen in a furious rant, admitting she is looking forward to watching Coleen chomp down on some ‘jungle nasties’.

A-listers have previously been forced to eat things like kangaroo testicles, camel toes, grubs, and mouse tails on previous seasons of the grueling compeтιтion. 

When asked if there is anything particular she would like to watch Coleen eat, she said: ‘Yeah, penis. Or humble pie.’

Coleen was seen meeting half of her campmates for the first time this week with the series set to kick off on ITV on Sunday 

Then when asked if a camel testicle would be the worst thing Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen has ever had in her mouth, Rebekah said: ‘I don’t know. You have to look at her husband for that one.’

During her own stint on I’m A Celeb in 2017, she did eating challenge, which saw her feasting on sheep anus, emu foot, and a bull’s penis.

It comes after Rebekah hit back at claims she headed abroad to avoid Coleen on television in a recent Instagram story before her flight.

Sharing a picture from her first-class seat, Rebekah captioned her post: ‘Fleeing the country [laughing emoji].’

A source revealed Becky is dreading having the Wagatha Christie saga brought back to public scrutiny because of Coleen’s stint in the jungle and wants to be as far away from her TV as possible.

An insider told MailOnline: ‘Jamie is whisking Becky away for a week to Dubai during the I’m A Celeb launch.’

The insider added: ‘The last thing she wants is to turn on her TV to see Coleen and the prospect of Ant & Dec making light of their painful court case fills her with dread.’
