Ali walks away with the remaining prize fund of £90,000 – with Segun having took £10k from the pot from a previous eviction task.

During Marcello’s first interview, he explained: ‘You just pray you don’t go in week one, but it gets more tense as the weeks go. Then you have Dean and Ali after you so it is hard.

‘I’ve always said Ali is a nice person, but we are different characters. I told her in there, we didn’t have an in depth discussion about the issues.’

He was then grilled by AJ about some of his rude comments in the house, particularly the one about ‘Sarah’s pH levels’.

AJ quipped: ‘As a woman that is an offensive thing to say.It may be boy banter, but it isn’t ok.’

He said: ‘At the end of the day I’ve had a few bad experiences. It is boy banter, I should have kept to the friendship group.’

Earlier in the tense show, Hanah and Emma were evicted from the Big Brother house.

The pair looked glamorous as they left the house and head to the Late & Live studio for their first interviews – leaving rivals Ali and Marcello as the final two.

It came quickly after Segun and Nathan became the eleventh and twelfth contestants to leave the house.

Hosts AJ and Will confirmed that the pair were first to leave out of the six finalists, before they walked out to a cheering crowd.

After six weeks, the Housemates’ stay in the Big Brother House came to an end, and to celebrate making it to the final, Big Brother threw the finalists a dinner party.

Housemates sat around the table reflecting on their time in the Big Brother House, with Nathan saying: ‘I’ve come in here expecting to not really get on with anyone; I’ve ended up really liking everyone… I couldn’t have wished for anything more.’

Ali added: ‘I’m so so grateful to be here at the final table and to have gone through everything that I’ve gone through with you guys. Whatever happens now, I feel like a winner, so thank you.’

Marcello said: ‘You’ve made me feel comfortable, you’ve made me feel at home, and you’ve all been a very special part of this journey. Thank you very much.’

Hanah added: ‘You know, I came in here knowing who I am. Yeah, I knew I was a drama queen, I knew I was funny, and I f**king loved it if I’m being honest with you. It was all me…’

Segun explained: ‘My time in the house has been amazing. Finding brothers in here, finding family, Hanah as well. Love you sis…10/10 experience.’

Emma concluded: I’ll never forget this experience; I will still remember this ’til the day I die. We’re all winners and I feel so so grateful to have had the opportunity to ever be in the House. Thank you, Big Brother.’

The Big Brother final comes after ITV has confirmed that Big Brother will return to screens next year, along with the Celebrity version, marking 25 years of the show in the UK – and applications are already open.

It comes as the channel’s second instalment of the original reality format is set to conclude on Friday night after another successful series.

During the Live Final, viewers will crown the winner of the current series, who will walk away victorious with a life-changing cash prize.

The third series of Big Brother on ITV2 and ITVX will follow another iconic star-studded edition of Celebrity Big Brother which is set to air in spring 2025, as a new batch of famous faces take up residence in the UK’s most famous abode.

Applications for next year’s civilian series are now open, so hopefuls who believe they have what it takes to take on the original social experiment can now apply by visiting BigBrother.com.

Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning and Acquisitions said, ‘Big Brother programming has firmly established itself across ITV’s platforms and become a favourite with our viewers.

EMMA

AGE : 53

FROM: Altrincham, originally EsSєx

OCCUPATION: Aesthetics Business owner

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LIKELY TO GET NOMINATED FOR?  If somebody doesn’t get my humour then they might think ‘she’s really abrupt and to the point and says it how it is’ but that’s my humour.

ROSIE

AGE: 29

FROM: Cornwall (originally EsSєx)

OCCUPATION: Dental ᴀssistant

DO YOU HAVE A STRATEGY FOR MAKING IT TO THE FINAL? No! I think it’s about being your most authentic self. The viewers aren’t dumb – they can sniff out manufactured drama.

NATHAN

AGE: 24

FROM: Dumfries

OCCUPATION: Pork Salesman and King Charles’ former butler

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LIKELY TO GET NOMINATED FOR?  Accidentally offending someone – someone taking something I’ve said the wrong way. Not a terrible offence, but if someone takes something I said the wrong way.

SEGUN

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL BRING TO THE HOUSE?  I think I’ll bring energy, comedic energy, vitality and a lot of entertainment and being uplifting.

DAZE

AGE: 24

FROM: London

OCCUPATION: Climate Activist

WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THE MONEY IF YOU WON? It’s been a difficult financial period for me – climate activism is quite often something you do in debt. It would be nice to have money to do the work

KHALED

AGE: 23

FROM: Manchester

OCCUPATION: Sales Manager

WHY DID YOU APPLY TO BE ON THIS NEW SERIES OF BIG BROTHER? I didn’t actually know what Big Brother was.  I thought it’s a new opportunity in life. I have no interest in being famous.

MARTHA

AGE: 26

FROM: Scarborough, originally from Margate

OCCUPATION: NHS Administrator

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO THE MOST ABOUT BEING A HOUSEMATE? Definitely sitting on the Diary Room chair. That is a bucket list ticked off. Also just experiencing that isolation. I’m going to really enjoy not having my phone. I just love not having that responsibility.

LILY

AGE: 20

FROM: Warrington

OCCUPATION: Chinese Takeaway Server

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LIKELY TO GET NOMINATED FOR? Probably that I’m annoying but I don’t care.

THOMAS

AGE: 20

FROM: Carlisle

OCCUPATION: Amputee Footballer

WHAT ARE YOU MOST LIKELY TO GET NOMINATED FOR? One of my bad traits is that I speak a lot. I do a lot of talking without thinking. In myself I never get offended, you can say anything about me – I’ve already heard it before.

RYAN

AGE: 28

FROM: Stockport

OCCUPATION: Marketing and Events

WHY DID YOU APPLY TO BE ON THIS NEW SERIES OF BIG BROTHER? I’ve always been a fan of the show – it’s been a bit of a childhood dream to go on it.

HANAH

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL BRING TO THE HOUSE? I’ll bring a lot of happiness and kindness. I reckon I’ll be there for a lot of people. I’m not the type of person to fall out with anyone and if I did, I’d make up for it.

SARAH

AGE: 27

FROM: Shrewsbury

OCCUPATION: Spa Account Manager

WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THE MONEY IF YOU WON? A few different things. One, I’d have my dream wedding. Two, go on a nice holiday. And three, maybe start my own business.

MARCELLO
