After a four-year hiatus, the Billboard Live Music Summit was held at the 1 H๏τel West Hollywood featuring a series of panels and leadership discussions, per the event’s site.

The Billboard Music Awards were initially slated to be on Thursday evening as well, but have since been moved to Tuesday, November 19.
Billboard’s Senior Director of Live Music and Touring, Dave Brooks, told the online magazine that this evening is meant to bring awareness to ‘the industry’s challenges and opportunities.’
He shared: ‘We’re excited to bring this program back to the epicenter of the concert business.
‘This summit is a marketplace for ideas and brings together some of the biggest names in the business. This year, we will explore the industry’s challenges and opportunities, as well as celebrate how far we have come since 2019.’
This year’s themes will include the state of the live music industry today, how to deal with its changing obstacles and what opportunities lie ahead for fresh faces in music.
Later in the evening, the scheduled award ceremony will honor this year’s ‘Top Touring Executives.’
Per Billboard, the ceremony ‘will recognize the visionaries who have shaped the live music landscape, showcasing their remarkable contributions and resilience in the industry.
‘With inspiring speeches and a gathering of music’s finest, it’s a moment dedicated to the pᴀssion and innovation that drive the live music experience.’
