Jax Taylor was pictured spending some time with a female friend while out in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The former Vanderpump Rules star was seen out in LA’s Valley Village neighborhood as he and the unknown woman stopped by the home that he formerly shared with his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright.

The meet-up comes shortly after the 45-year-old reality star appeared on Bravo’s H๏τ Mic podcast and claimed that his ex — who recently mocked him for making numerous mistakes on his divorce paperwork — still calls him asking to ‘hook up.’

In the same podcast, he admitted to ‘seeing red’ and throwing furniture around the house after he allegedly discovered ɴuᴅᴇ pH๏τos on Brittany’s phone that she had been sending to a friend.

Jax’s outfit on Thursday was casual and comfortable. 

He wore a pale gray hoodie with a graphic on the back, which he paired with darker gray sweatpants.

The Valley star also had on a pair of black sneakers with red and gray accents, and he wore a black LA Dodgers cap that was turned backward.

He brought along a drink in an insulated mug as he was seen near his vehicle with his lady friend.

The woman was dressed up a bit more than him with a green ribbed ʙuттon-up sweater top and dark pants.

She covered up on the breezy morning with a long black leather overcoat and what looked like a chunky black bag.

She completed her outfit with Christian Dior slide sandals, and her raven hair was pulled back in a ponytail.

Jax and his friend were reportedly seen dropping by his former marital home for around 20 minutes, before they got back in his car and headed to the condo where he is currently staying.

Before the outing, Jax appeared on Bravo’s H๏τ Mic podcast, where he suggested that his ex Brittany hasn’t been completely truthful about her desire to move on from their relationship amid their divorce proceedings. 

He complained that his ex ‘publicly humiliates [him] and calls [him] every name in the book,’ only to turn around and allegedly call him with requests to spend intimate time together.

Jax claimed that Brittany called him two days earlier to say ‘Come over. You want to have some drinks? Come over. You want to hook up?’

He also alleged that his estranged wife added: ‘Don’t tell anyone that I’m doing this.’

‘People don’t know that,’ he continuing, adding that she ‘talks all this s***.’

Jax claimed he didn’t want to ‘blow her cover,’ despite doing just that with his allegations.

But Brittany tried to set the record straight in a comment on a clip of the podcast interview shared to Instagram.

‘Let me make this clear I was trying to see if we can be friends for our son and obviously we CANT,’ she wrote.

Elsewhere in the podcast, was less combative and admitted that he had been ‘verbally abusive’ to Brittany before he checked himself into an in-patient treatment facility for mental health issues earlier this year.

However, his trust with his estranged wife was shaken by her statements earlier this week on the H๏τ Mic podcast.

She claimed at the time that he did not change ‘at all in those 30 days’ that he was in treatment, which Jax strongly disagreed with.

‘I think she really wants to see me fail,’ he opined. ‘I think she wants to prove everyone right and, to be honest, I’ve done nothing wrong since I’ve been out. I’ve been overly nice to her.’

The two also seem to have different stories of the final days of their marriage. Although Brittany ultimately filed for divorce, Jax portrayed it as her decision to end the marriage, which allegedly threw her off guard when he decided not to push back to preserve their marriage.

By contrast, Brittany painted Jax as the one who ended the relationship, and she claimed to be ‘relieved’ that the two were splitting.

Jax gave a fuller picture of his behavioral issues with his ex when he admitted he was ‘seeing red’ and throwing furniture around the house after discovering ɴuᴅᴇ pH๏τos she allegedly sent to his friend Julian Sensley once they were already separated.

He claimed he was feeling hopeful about the relationship before the discovery.

‘I’ll be honest, we had relations before I left, literally right before I left [for a Fourth of July trip],’ Jax alleged. ‘I come back home and I said, “Hey, what do you think about moving back?” And she said, “Yeah.””

But things changed when he alleged saw evidence of Brittany’s relationship with Julian. Although she had admitted to having a brief fling with Julian, Jax said he believed it was over at the time.

Two days after the blow-up, Brittany and his friends staged and intervention. He later checked into an in-patient mental health facility. Afterward, Jax announced that he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD

‘I just saw the iPad, and she was still talking to Julian and sending him pictures, like naked pictures and pictures of my son, and I just lost it,’ he said

‘And that’s where I hit the bottom of the barrel. That’s where I just saw red,’ he continued, calling the scary moment an ‘out of body experience’ during which he ‘went crazy’ and ‘threw furniture.’

‘That was my breaking point,’ he said, before adding that the couple’s son Cruz, three, was not around during the blow-up.

The incident seems to have spurred Britney and Jax’s friends to get him help, as they held an intervention for him only two days later. 

After checking out of treatment, he announced: ‘After many years of knowing something was wrong but not knowing exactly what it was, I recently learned that I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and PTSD.’

However, he didn’t specify at the time what events had led to his PTSD diagnosis. 

‘It’s been a lot to process and an emotional time for me, however I’ve come home to my son with a new found sense of peace,’ he added in an Instagram post.

Although Jax has his own history of infidelity during his relationship with Brittany — and also was seen spending time with other women after their split — he claimed that the two had agreed not to get intimate with any of their mutual friends while separated.

‘I don’t think I would have been bothered by it if it was somebody else that I didn’t know, but the fact that it was one of my friends that I brought into my group, that I’ve taken care of, that I’ve helped get a manager, that I’ve helped build relationships with? I just did a lot for this guy,’ Jax said. ‘I just felt like it was such a slap in the face to me a little bit.’

He went on to accuse Brittany of trying to hide the relationship with Julian, which he claimed he discovered when he found a ‘weird’ message from him on her phone one night. 

But Jax also noted that it was fitting that his ex was seeing another man after he his dalliances.

‘Yes, we were separated, but we were still hanging out with each other,’ he claimed. ‘Meanwhile, she was dating this guy … Maybe it’s karma, but man, I definitely got a taste of my own medicine for sure.’

‘It just didn’t feel good,’ he added. ‘It put a really bad taste in my mouth, and that’s kinda where the downward spiral started for me, […] but the last eight months of my life have been hell. I went off the deep end. I really did.’
