Reese Witherspoon look incredible on Wednesday night at an event in New York City — amid her ‘fun’ new romance with German financier Oliver Haarmann.

The Oscar-winner, 48, led stars at the iMentor 25th anniversary Champions Dinner, which was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

She posed up on the event’s purple carpet in a chic black midi dress with a bedazzled asymmetrical neckline.

Reese styled her frock with black satin heels and a pair of diamond stud earrings.

Her signature sandy blonde hair was worn in loose curls that framed her face.

As for makeup, the Legally Blonde star rocked a youthful peach flush on her cheeks and shimmery brown shadow on her eyelids.

To round out the look, her makeup artist applied a peachy pink gloss to her lips and a natural set of false eyelashes. 

While on the red carpet, Reese ran into G9 Ventures founder Amy Griffin and legendary broadcast journalist Diane Sawyer.

iMentor is non-profit organization based in New York that matches high school kids with college-educated mentors who help guide them on their journey to higher education.

This year’s Champions Dinner is in celebration of iMentor’s ‘quarter-century of mentoring moments,’ as per the official website.

Over the last 25 years, iMentor has helped more than 42,000 students across the United States build ‘strong, lasting, and transformative mentoring relationships.’

Amy Griffin and her husband John Griffin, both of whom are Benefit Chairs, hosted the event inside the Met’s Temple of Dendur.

Reese’s appearance at Wednesday’s dinner in NYC comes amid her romance with Haarmann, who is minority co-owner of the NHL’s New York Islanders and founding partner of Searchlight Capital.

He is Reese’s first boyfriend since splitting from her second husband Jim Toth in 2023.

She and the hunky businessman started dating earlier this year after getting to know one another as friends.

They first sparked romance rumors in July when they took a helicopter ride together into New York City, where Haarmann lives, and enjoyed dinner at L’Artusi restaurant in the West Village.

While sources initially claimed she and Haarmann were ‘just friends,’ it was confirmed in September that the duo are romantically linked but taking things slow.

Last month, a source told PEOPLE that Reese has been ‘having fun’ with Haarmann.

‘Reese is doing great and enjoys dating,’ a source told People. ‘She’s having fun with Oliver,’ the insider dish. 

‘Reese loves that he’s a businessman and not into Hollywood.’

The source also noted that the Cruel Intentions star — who is based in LA — ‘often flies between Nashville and N.Y.C. to see him. He’s spending time with her kids too.’

Reese is a mother of three. She shares daughter Ava, 25, and son Deacon, 21, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe and son Tennessee, 12, with ex Toth.

Haarmann is also a parent to two kids with his ex-wife Mala Gaonkar. 

While her new relationship is progressing, insiders recently told DailyMail.com that twice divorced Reese sees no reason to say ‘I do’ for a third time. 

‘At 48 Reese doesn’t plan to have any more children,’ the source dished. ‘She’s also independent as hell and certainly doesn’t need a man for his money.

‘The reason she’s told Oliver ‘no’ to marriage is because she doesn’t want him to have false expectations and think this is in their future. Because it definitely isn’t.’

Reese’s divorce announcement in 2023 shocked fans as she and talent agent Toth has been married for 12 years.

She announced the split in March 2023 with an Instagram statement, calling it a ‘difficult decision’ but one that was done with ‘a great deal of care and consideration.’

Months later, she told Harper’s Bazaar that she felt ‘very connected’ after sharing her divorce news with the world.

‘Then, of course, there’s speculation, but I can’t control that. All I can do is be my most honest, forthright self and be vulnerable.’

She continued: ‘I think about how many other people are going through this experience. I don’t feel isolated at all. I feel very connected.’
