Johnsonville posted a pH๏τo of a package of bratwurst with a custom, ‘Treat yourself a round of sausage’ spelled out in puzzle board form like the iconic game show.
‘Will’s got us inspired. It’s World Kindness Day tomorrow. Post a kind act you’ve done or observed with #KeepTheInternetJuicy and we’ll treat yourself a round of sausage,’ their posts read.
They clarified that, ‘a round of sausage = one FREE Johnsonville product coupon while supplies last.’
The Johnsonville Instagram post received over 2,800 replies while their X post garnered over 400 replies, filled with acts of kindness.
Some were as simple as Instagram user Lauren Hedberg, who said, ‘We donated food to the humane society by our house.’
Others went above and beyond like another Instagram user Beth Hull, who said, ‘My husband and I launched our boat after Hurricane Harvey and helped rescue people from their flooded houses. That was a very surreal moment. It was the least we could do to help.’
Johnsonville is a privately-owned family company founded in 1945 in a small Wisconsin town.
It has since grown to be one of the largest sausage producers in the United States, still owned and operated by the family of original founders Ralph and Alice Stayer.

‘Yeah, I’ll tell you, when the lights are on and you know the stars, Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White, it’s… I just went blank,’ Will admitted in an interview with Maggie.
He added, though, ‘If your dad, in retirement, is watching the show, maybe cracks a beer and has a laugh, it’ll be worth it.’
Maggie said she would, ‘be sure we tune in that night, that’s a promise,’ as Will recognized he’d get some playful ribbing about the flub back home.
‘I’m sure I’m gonna have sausages in my locker and police car when I get back, so we’ll try to have some fun with it,’ Will added.
Seacrest then came over with a cue card from the show which he signed, as Will asked him to make it out to the Jordan family, which he did.
‘This is really gonna be special,’ Will said as Ryan handed the cue card to Maggie for her to sign, as she offered some words of encouragement.
