Sister Wives stars Christine Woolley and Meri Barber reunited on Sunday’s episode of the TLC reality series to discuss their lives after divorcing their ex-husband Kody Brown.
In the episode – тιтled ‘Baptism by Fire’ – 52-year-old Christine introduced 53-year-old Meri to her future second husband David Woolley during her daughter Gwendlyn Brown’s bridal shower.
‘Hi David, it’s good to meet you,’ Barber smiled. ‘Congratulations!’
When Woolley (born Allred) revealed she ‘found him online’ Meri made a joke about her past catfishing drama: ‘Better be careful about that!’
Barber admitted it was a bit ‘awkward’ meeting Christine’s boyfriend because she could only ever picture her with the 55-year-old polygamist they both permanently split from in 2023 after 33 years and 2021 after 27 years.

Considering the Woolleys just celebrated their first wedding anniversary on October 7, things have worked out great for the whirlwind couple.
After exchanging ‘I love yous’ at the party, Christine asked Meri: ‘It’s better on the other side, isn’t it?’
‘Eh, I don’t know,’ Barber shrugged.
At that, Woolley reᴀssured Meri: ‘It will be. Infinitely better. It is. It is, I promise. So much better.’
The former sister wives then embraced and Christine told Barber she was glad she came.
Kody is not handling the fallout of his many marriages well even though he legally wed fourth wife Robyn Sullivan Brown in 2014 after divorcing Meri.
Brown’s 29-year ‘spiritual union’ with ex-‘wife’ #2 Janelle Schriever Brown ended in 2022.
‘I don’t fit in the family anymore,’ the grandfather-of-six lamented in the September 15th episode.
‘And then I have some relationship with some of the other kids and it’s infrequent. And so I’m like, “What do I do with all of this? It doesn’t feel like a family.”‘
