Chet Holmgren left Oklahoma City’s game against the Golden State Warriors early after taking a hard fall onto the court while trying to contest a layup by Andrew Wiggins.
Holmgren did not return to the game, with the Thunder saying he missed the rest of the 127-116 loss Sunday due to a right hip injury.
Holmgren clearly could be seen falling hard on his right hip, and the Thunder big man was clearly in pain as he lay under the basket.
No foul was called on the play.
Trainers quickly came out to the floor in order to ᴀssess Holmgren, and he was eventually helped off the court not being able to put any weight on his right leg.
