Olivia Dunne was left amazed by fans’ Halloween homage to her and MLB boyfriend Paul Skenes.

Fans channeled the social media sensation as they dressed up as the sports star couple for the spooky holiday over the weekend.

Multiple couples recreated the Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher and LSU gymnast’s look as women sported leotards in purple and gold – the Tigers’ signature colors – while their partners donned MLB jerseys and, of course, Skenes’ iconic black handlebar mustache.

‘Too good,’ Dunne reacted to one couple’s attempt as she shared a pH๏τo to her Instagram.

The snap showed a Pittsburgh fan dressed head-to-toe in Pirates uniform, while his girlfriend wore a long-sleeved purple leotard with her hair teased into a high ponytail, finished off with a purple ribbon.

The couple, both LSU products, first sparked dating rumors in June of 2023 when Dunne posted a video wearing Skenes’ jersey for her millions of TikTok followers. By August of that year, Skenes confirmed their relationship.

Speaking to ESPN , Skenes detailed the beginning of his relationship with the LSU gymnastics star and mega influencer.

A friend of Skenes’ was dating Tigers gymnast Elena Arenas and introduced the pitcher to her roommate, Dunne.

Skenes added that he can’t remember if they had sushi, ice cream, or both on their first date. But he recalled trying to go out in the most stealthy manner.

‘If we had been spotted, it would have made waves in Baton Rouge,’ Skenes told ESPN.

Now having dated for over a year and their relationship out in the open, Skenes and Dunne have been a headline-grabbing tandem.

Dunne has traveled across the United States to cheer Skenes on throughout his rookie season, where the pitcher has underlined his credentials as one of baseball’s biggest talents.

Skenes made 23 starts, threw in 133 innings and finished with an ERA of 1.96. His fastball averages at 99mph but has hit speeds of 101.5mph.

The 22-year-old started the season at Triple A level before being elevated into the starting rotation at the Pirates, who took him with their first pick of the Draft in July 2023.

While some would shy away from their partner’s notoriety, Skenes found Dunne’s fame helpful as he built his own celebrity.

With Dunne’s experience in the limelight, Skenes spoke of how she helped him navigate the world of stardom.

‘She knows how to deal with it, and I know how to deal with it now, too,’ he said. ‘She’s been so good for me.’

While Skenes’ career in the pros has been off to a good start, Dunne committed to returning to Baton Rouge for a fifth season with the Tigers.

Her decision came after the gymnastics team brought LSU’s first NCAA тιтle in the sport back to campus after a dominant season.
