UKRAINIAN DRONES PIN DOWN RUSSIAN LOGISTICS COLUMN IN ZAPORIZHZHIA CHOKE POINT

Ukrainian drone units have reportedly struck a Russian logistics column in the Zaporizhzhia sector, turning a key supply route into a dangerous choke point for Moscow’s forces.

The attack appears to fit Ukraine’s wider strategy of targeting the routes Russia uses to move fuel, ammunition, vehicles, and reinforcements across the southern front. Recent reports say Ukrainian drones have been hammering Russian logistics across Crimea, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia, with supply columns, trucks, rail hubs, and military transport routes coming under growing pressure.

In this kind of battlefield environment, even a small road junction can become critical. When vehicles are forced into narrow routes, drones can track them, isolate them, and strike before the convoy can disperse. The result is not just destroyed equipment — it is delay, confusion, and pressure on every supply movement behind the front.

Ukraine’s drone campaign is increasingly reaching beyond immediate front-line positions. Reuters reported that Ukrainian drone forces are carrying out “middle strikes” against Russian targets 30 to 180 kilometers behind the front, including ammunition depots, air-defense systems, and field bases.

For Russia, the problem is growing: every supply truck now has to move under the threat of surveillance drones, FPV strike drones, and longer-range UAVs. For Ukraine, the goal is clear — weaken Russia’s logistics before its troops and vehicles even reach the battlefield.

⚠️ The southern front is no longer just a line of trenches. It is becoming a drone-controlled battlefield where roads, convoys, and supply routes are all under constant threat.
