Sir Tom Jones Turns Down The Voice UK’s New Offer After 13 Years — “I’m Not Thrilled About That” 🎤🇬🇧

Sir Tom Jones is reportedly turning the page on his long ᴀssociation with The Voice UK after declining an offer to return in a reduced role, following his departure from the coaching panel.
The 86-year-old Welsh music legend had been a familiar face on the singing compeтιтion since its launch in 2012, apart from a break during its fifth season. His departure from the full-time coaching lineup sparked disappointment among fans, many of whom had come to ᴀssociate his warmth, experience, and unmistakable voice with the show.

In September, Jones publicly expressed his frustration after learning that ITV had decided not to retain him as a full-time coach. He said he had not wanted to leave and explained that the broadcaster had cited insurance-related financial difficulties.
The network, meanwhile, said it had loved working with Jones and confirmed that discussions about possible future involvement were continuing.
But the proposed alternative apparently failed to convince him.
According to reports published this week, ITV hoped to keep the veteran singer involved through a “super guest judge” arrangement, allowing him to make occasional appearances rather than participate as a regular coach from the beginning of the compeтιтion.
Jones has reportedly declined that offer, although ITV has not publicly confirmed the latest reports.
The development marks a significant change for a performer who spent more than a decade mentoring aspiring singers on the programme. During his time on the coaching panel, he helped guide several contestants to victory and became one of the compeтιтion’s most recognisable personalities.
His exit also signals a new chapter for the show as producers prepare a refreshed coaching lineup for the upcoming series.
For fans, the question is whether the programme can maintain the same chemistry without one of its longest-serving coaches.
One thing is clear: Jones has made no secret of his disappointment at losing the full-time position he wanted to keep. Whether another opportunity will emerge remains to be seen.
