Caleb Flynn became emotional again in court just days after a jury found him guilty on all nine charges connected to the d#ath of his wife, Ashley Flynn.

The former pastor and “American Idol” contestant was seen crying during a Thursday hearing concerning Ohio’s violent-offender registration requirements. The brief hearing came ahead of his scheduled sentencing on October 5.

Flynn had already broken down when the guilty verdicts were read on September 29. His defense has maintained his innocence and said it expects to file an appeal.

His sentencing could result in a life sentence, depending on the court’s ruling and the applicable Ohio sentencing provisions. The defense is expected to present its arguments before Judge Jeannine Pratt.

As the sentencing hearing approaches, attention now turns to the court’s final decision and the next stage of Flynn’s legal case.
