When Katie learned during an ultrasound at 18 weeks that her baby was developing differently, she and her husband faced a future they had never expected.

Their son, Camden, was born with phocomelia and amelia, without legs and with arms ending around the elbows. But from the beginning, his parents were determined to give him every opportunity to grow, learn and become independent. 💗

And Camden continues to surprise them every day.

One of the sweetest parts of his story is the special bond he shares with his younger brother, Jaxton. When the baby becomes unsettled, Camden stays close — helping with his pacifier, wiping his little face and comforting him until he feels better. 🥹👶💙

His determination extends far beyond caring for his brother. Camden enjoys puzzles, basketball, drawing and other activities, finding his own ways to do things and explore the world around him. 🏀🎨✨

For his mother, watching Camden grow has changed the way she sees his future.
