🥺💗 SHE WAS BORN NINE WEEKS EARLY — NOW LITTLE KYRA IS FACING A DELICATE SURGERY TO PROTECT HER SIGHT 🌈🙏

At just six months old, little Kyra is facing a medical journey no parent could ever imagine.

Born nine weeks prematurely with a rare condition called frontal encephalocele, part of Kyra’s brain extends outward through the area of her nose. As she grows, the condition is threatening her vision and requires highly complex surgery. 🏥💗

Because Kyra is so tiny, doctors used advanced 3D printing technology to create replicas of her skull. These models allowed the surgical team to carefully study her anatomy and plan every step before operating. ✨

Then came the day of the surgery.

After two hours of preparation for anesthesia, a team of around 20 medical professionals began a procedure that lasted about nine hours. Doctors carefully worked around her delicate facial bones and attempted to reconstruct the affected area using a bone graft. 🙏💕

For Kyra’s parents, the wait was filled with fear and uncertainty. They knew the operation carried serious risks, but they also hoped it would give their little girl a better chance of protecting her sight and growing up with new possibilities. 🥺🌷
