🥺💗👶 BORN JUST 15 WEEKS EARLY — LITTLE ADA HAS SPENT ALMOST HER WHOLE FIRST YEAR IN THE HOSPITAL, STILL WAITING TO GO HOME 🌈🙏
When little Ada Reid Watts was born almost 15 weeks premature, she weighed just 1 lb 5 oz (595 grams).

So tiny that her parents lovingly called her their little “Elf on the Shelf.” 🥺💗

But instead of bringing their newborn home, Justin and Jordan Watts watched their daughter begin a long journey in the hospital.

🏥💙 ALMOST A YEAR OF FIGHTING
Ada has spent nearly her entire life at Children’s of Alabama, facing repeated infections, serious breathing difficulties and long periods of intensive medical care.

More recently, she received a tracheostomy, and things finally began moving in a hopeful direction. For the first time, her parents could truly imagine the moment they would walk out of the hospital with their baby girl. 🌷

Then came another setback.

Ada developed rhinovirus and a urinary tract infection, causing her oxygen needs to rise and leaving her unusually tired as her tiny body fought to recover. 💔

For her parents, it was another difficult reminder that progress can sometimes come with unexpected turns.

🌈🙏 ALL THEY WANT IS TO BRING HER HOME
Justin and Jordan aren’t asking for anything extraordinary.

They simply want to see their daughter leave the hospital and experience life at home.

They continue to trust Ada’s doctors and remain grateful for every nurse and medical professional who has helped their little girl make it this far. 💗

For now, the family waits patiently in Birmingham, holding onto the same dream they’ve had since Ada was born:

One day, their tiny daughter will finally walk through those hospital doors and go home. 🏡🥹💕
